The New Dutch Bros Coffee in Temple Was Definitely Worth the Wait
Way back in May, news broke that Dutch Bros Coffee was setting up shop in Temple.
The Wait Is Over
At first we thought we were just getting one location at 201 North General Bruce Drive, which is near Temple High School and on the lot where Long John Silver's Used to be. Not long after, we learned that we were in fact getting a second Dutch Bros at 6520 West Adams.
Grand Opening
Well, the West Adams location officially opened for business today, and it was just as crowded as we expected it to be. Both police and employees were directing traffic, but like Chick-Fil-A, things moved surprisingly smoothly despite the congestion.
Tasting is Believing
Toni Gee and I hopped in a station vehicle and drove over to see what the hype's all about. Our coworker, Aaron Zytle, spent years living in Colorado and told us how delicious Dutch Bros is. We had to try it for ourselves.
Great Service
The first thing that struck me was, as I mentioned above, how efficiently everything was running despite all the traffic.
The staff who worked with us were all really kind and patient with us while we decided what we wanted, and they even gave us free swag!
How Was It?
Toni ordered their hot white mocha, while I sampled the iced Golden Eagle, which is a mix of vanilla and caramel.
We were both beyond impressed with the service and with our drinks.
Check out video of our visit below to get an idea of what to expect and our review of the drinks we tried.
Not Bad At All
I still think Peggy's Coffee House in the mall makes the best cup in town, but I'll definitely be hitting up Dutch Bros fairly often since it's closer to our studio.
Have you tried Dutch Bros yet? What did you think?
