On September 10, 2025, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was executed in front of a crowd of 3,000 people on a Utah university campus. Almost two weeks after his murder, his organization is seeing a surge in membership requests nationwide, including at Texas A&M.

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk once stated that if he were ever removed by those wishing to silence his message, he would be replaced by hundreds...if not thousands. He was correct. Nearly two weeks after Charlie Kirk's assassination, the Turning Point USA chapter at Texas A&M University is seeing phenomenal growth. According to KXXV, Turning Point USA Faculty adviser, Matt Haydon said the group’s membership has gone from less than 100 to over 500.

In the Wake of Charlie Kirk’s death, Turning Point USA Faculty adviser, Matt Haydon tells KXXV, "My hope is that students and people in general will look and say no, I'm not going to be scared and be afraid to share my opinions. That my opinions are valid, my opinions matter just as much as anybody else's.”
Requests For New TPUSA Chapters is Also Surging
In a post on X, TPUSA Spokesman and Executive Producer of The Charlie Kirk Show Andrew Kolvet said that inquiries about new TPUSA chapters have exploded.
