US105 stopped by Scores Pizza & Wings in Belton for the latest edition of Tasty Tuesday.

Spoiler Alert: I Loved It!

Scores Pizza & Wings is located in Downtown Belton right along Nolan Creek. If you're looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a cold adult beverage while watching the game, look no further than Score Pizza & Wings. They've got you cover with a great menu and 29 taps.

So Much More Room for Food and Football

If it's been a while since you've been in, you might be surprised to know that Scores have expanded with a bigger room and, of course, more TV's. The additional room was added in 2019, but with 2020 being a wash for us all, not everyone knows of the added room.

The additional room is a much need expansion, especially since football season is right around the corner and the home team (Dallas Cowboys) are expected to do pretty good this year.

Whatever Your Team, Scores Has You Covered

Scores also carries the Sunday Ticket, so you'll find your favorite team playing on one of the many TV's making Scores the perfect destination for Thursday, Sunday, and Monday.

Plus, if college football is your thing, they've got you covered.

Let's Dig In!

We caught up with Jeff, the owner, and tried out some of the food you'll find on the menu.

We started with both the cheese curds and chicken wings. The curds were really good, but the wings were great! These are not the wings of a small variety. These wings were jumbo sized and cooked to perfection. I prefer mine a little extra crispy and, of course, spicy, and that's exactly what I got.

If curds and wings are not your thing, Scores also offers salads, sliders, basket of fries, pepperoni rolls, or a calzone. Check out the full menu HERE.

After we sampled the curds and wings, we jumped on their house specialty pizza: The Texas Throwdown. This beauty featured chicken, pineapple bell pepper, jalapeno and sweet Texas heat sauce.

Pineapple on Pizza? Scores Makes It Work in a Surprising Way

Truth be told, I'm not a fan of pineapple on my pizza, but I took one for the team on this go around and it wasn't bad. In fact, it was really good. The jalapeno and sweet Texas heat sauce really blended well with the pineapple, making it just part of the sweetness the pizza had to offer.

In fact, I'm starting to rethink my anti-pineapple stance on pizza all together.

Okay, naw, I'm still not a pineapple on pizza guy, but the Texas Throwdown was delicious, and there are tons of great pizza options for anyone at Scores.

Scores Has a Tap for Any Taste

Scores also offers 29 taps on the wall with just about every style of beer you're looking for, making them a must stop on a hot summer day to cool down with a frosty adult beverage.

So Many Options Inside and Out

Scores also offers an outdoor area with seating so you can enjoy the sun and heat, relax in the shade, or enjoy a nice, relaxing evening. They're also a stone's throw away from Nolan Creek, so you can do some swimming after you've given yourself a little time to digest.

Scores is also family friendly, and everybody knows that kids love pizza. Pizza is an essential food group for kids and adults alike.

No doubt about it, you'll feel right at home at Scores Pizza & Wings!
