It’s Official: Quick Witted Comedian Mitch Burrow Joins US 105
Killeen/Temple's Number One for New Country US105 Morning Show has been hosted by just a single person for over a year and a half. Noah has been the host of "Noah and the Morning Reveille" while providing quality entertainment all over central Texas all by himself. It's a difficult job, but Noah made it seem like that was the only way a morning radio should be ran.
Noah can finally take a break and rest his shoulders after carrying the show on his back all this time. Standup Comedian, TV Host, and Actor, Mitch Burrow, has been hired as co-host for Noah and Mitch in the morning, weekdays 6pm - 10pm on US105.
Mitch Burrow is a standup comedian that performs regularly at all of the major clubs in Central Texas. Mitch is a Marine Corps Veteran that served in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. He was born Georgia and has lived everywhere from Okinawa, Japan to Los Angeles, CA because of his careers in the Marine Corps and standup comedy. Now he has settled in Texas with his wife, Leigh, and their 3 1/2-year-old daughter, Billie.
Mitch has been a fan of country music and morning radio shows since he was a child. He always had the radio on, and he was either listening to Alan Jackson or Bob and Tom. Mitch got the opportunity to sit in as a guest on Bob and Tom While touring as a comedian. The experience ignited a fire in Mitch that resulted in a relentless journey to find a career in morning radio. He spent several years going into any radio station he could as a guest to help build up experience, and in August of this year he finally got the phone call he had been waiting for the last 4 years. Mitch became the new co-host of US105's morning show.
Noah and Mitch have shown the promise of an amazing show in just the first two weeks working together. They have brought some new segments to the show like "Here it on 6th Street" and "Are You Smarter Than a Marine". On the nights that Mitch is performing in Austin he takes a portable recorder with him and finds oddball characters to ask them to choose between two ridiculous options in the form of a "would you rather" question. "Are You Smarter Than a Marine" gives you the opportunity to challenge Mitch to a random trivia question for your opportunity to win prizes from the station. Mitch is currently 0 for 3 against civilians, so he's looking forward to someone calling in from Fort Cavasos to he can finally win.
Be sure to listen to Noah and Mitch in the Morning from 6am - 10am to join in on the fun with two of the funniest guys you'll hear on the radio!
