Waco Comedy Club in the Works
A comedy club is set to open in Waco on New Year's Eve.
I've lived in Waco my entire life, and the most constant complaint among Waco residents is the lack of activities. In the past few years downtown Waco has been revitalized, but we're still behind most major cities when it comes to night time activities. Hopefully 2020 will be the year to change all that.
According to our news partners at KWTX, Savage Finds Antiques & Oddities plans to open a comedy club in Waco called, The Silo District Comedy Club. The venue is set to open on New Year's Eve, and the owners promise to bring nationally known comedians.
Stage being built tomorrow. Comedy Club getting closer to launching everyday! #newyearseve #waco #wacotexas #wacotx #thesilodistrict #silodistrict

The New Year's Eve show will feature comedians Landry and Cam Bertrand. The show will also be catered from 6-7 pm. The Silo District website states that each show is 90 minutes and each ticket comes with 2 free non-alcoholic drinks.
Tickets for the grand opening are $59 and the club is BYOB. Now you won't have to pay that annoying two-drink minimum that's usually required in cities like Dallas and Austin.
