Waco Police Are Dishing Out Fun With Their First Ever Trunk or Treat
For the first time ever, the Waco Police Department is hosting a Trunk or Treat event.
Do you have plans for October 25th? If not, this is a chance to make sure your kid's candy bucket runneth over!
Join your local police for an evening of spooky fun. The department has enlisted their buddies from other police departments in McLennan County to help make this event a success.
The big candy giveaway will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. (or until candy runs out) in the front parking lot of the Waco Police Department located at 3115 Pine Ave, and everyone is invited. In addition to the candy, kids can enjoy Halloween music and decorated vehicles.
It's going to be a spooktacular time, and it's great to see that even our law enforcement officers are getting in on the Halloween spirit.
By the way, here's another trick-or-treat tip: The Grand Avenue Theater in Belton is hosting a trunk-or-treat event on October 29. They're encouraging the kiddos to dress up in their Halloween costumes, and there'll even be a drive-in screening of Hocus Pocus!
Even better, the drive-in movie is free if you register your vehicle to give away candy at the end. If you're interested in being a part of the festivities, you can get your family registered online right here.
With Halloween just around the corner, don't miss out on the community fun. We'll bring you information on more Halloween trick or treating opportunities, so stay tuned!
