Waco Responders Called to a Fire Find Person Impaled on a Fence

With the 4th of July coming up tomorrow here is a friendly reminder to handle all fireworks with care and not to engage in silly people tricks.

First responders in Waco have already had one bizarre call ahead of the holiday that involved fire and a person who somehow impaled themselves on a fence.

Crews responded to a fire about 8 pm last night in the 800 block of Colcord. An apartment fire started in a sprinkler room of the complex. When firefighters arrived, the blaze was easily contained but what surprised them was a person who was found impaled on a nearby fence.

The patient was freed from the fence and rushed to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest. Their condition was not available at the time of publication.
