Waco Students Could Get a Chance to Go to Space
Did you ever want to go out to space? I know I did when I was growing up. How cool is this: a group of middle school students at Indian Spring Middle School in Waco may get their dreams answered.
Earlier today a dozen students worked as a team to build a robot or "sphere" that will hopefully make it around the International Space Station.
How is that possible, right?
Well as a part of the Zero Robotics program students are learning how to use strategy, basic math skills, geometry and reading skills.
Now that's real summer school.
