Waco Woman Arrested for Baseball Bat Attack
Police say intoxication was likely a factor in the case of a woman jailed Monday after reportedly striking her boyfriend, a car, and items in a Waco motel room with a baseball bat.
Christopher Shadrock with our news partner, KWTX-TV, reports that Kelly Littlejohn, 43, was arrested Monday evening just after 5 p.m. at the Motel 6 in the 3100 block of Interstate 35 South, Waco.
Officers claimed that Littlejohn hit her boyfriend with an aluminum baseball bat, which she then allegedly turned on the door of their room, items inside the room, and the windows of her car.
Upon arriving at the motel, police found Littlejohn barricaded in a bathroom and refusing to come out. Police were later able to remove her from the room.
Littlejohn was treated for minor leg injuries. It is still unsure the condition of her boyfriend.
Littlejohn is being charged with criminal mischief over $2,500, but under $30,000 and assault with a deadly weapon. She is currently being held in jail with bonds totaling $32,500.
