Want to be in movies? HBO Max needs extras for show filming in Killeen
If you've always wanted to work in film, this is your chance!
Have people always told you that you should be in pictures? Is being a movie extra on your bucket list?
Brock Allen Casting Agency is looking for extras to appear in a new HBO Max limited series, and they want locals to apply. The casting agent's only request is that you be vaccinated. Shooting will begin in Killeen January 25th, and extras will be paid.
What's The Show About?
It's a period piece based on a murder that happened in Wylie, Texas back in 1980. According to the Austin American-Statesman, the show began filming in Hutto in late September, and Killeen is included in the Texas filming locations.
'Love and Death' is the story of Wylie housewife Candy Montgomery, who was charged with the ax murder of fellow housewife Betty Gore. The women were friends, and attended the same church. Montgomery's affair with Gore's husband was said to be the trigger for the murder, which was ruled self-defense.
Cast members of the series include Elizabeth Olsen, known for her role as the Scarlet Witch in 'Wandavision' on Disney Plus.
How Do I Become An Extra?
You just need to send an e-mail to tvextrassubmissions@gmail.com, and on the subject line put 'Killeen Extra'. In the e-mail, include your full name, contact details, two recent color photos (one selfie and one full length), your COVID vaccination records, clothing and shoe size, height/weight, where you live, and times you are available.
