In theory, this technical framework ensures that only the sender and the intended recipient retain the ability to read or listen to transmitted content, rendering the underlying data completely unreadable to outside entities, including the platform itself.

Whats WhatsApp Really Doing?

Independent investigations and insider testimony say WhatsApp is anything but private. Investigators found that specialized teams of WhatsApp personnel possess the operational capability to intercept and review user communications. Forensic evidence suggests that message logs can be actively extracted and viewed by third parties long after the transmission is completed, directly contradicting Meta's institutional privacy policy.
