Willie asks President for Meeting at Border Detention Center

Willie doesn't ask for much. He spoke out on Twitter with a request for the President. The Country music legend wants to meet President Trump at a border detention center like the one in McAllen, Texas.

Zero-tolerance means just that, and separating families at the border is certainly not a new policy. It's a pretty awful position to be in. It's very difficult to watch the consequences though that's for sure. It breaks your heart. Nelson makes reference to his song "The Promiseland" which is absolutely worth a listen when thinking about the current situation.
