The weather here in Central Texas is a non-stop roller coaster ride, ain't it folks?

It was cold and wet Friday, warm and pleasant all weekend, and now we're expecting a Monday cold front that's going to bring some serious wind.

In fact, the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Bell and surrounding counties.

We're expecting north winds of 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts that could reach 40+ mph. Yikes.

That means your pink lawn flamingos, garden chairs, and trash cans are going to be blown onto your neighbor's roof if you don't put them away or secure them. You've been warned.

Oh, and keep in mind that high winds can make driving extra tricky, so take your time, give other cars plenty of space, and in the immortal words of Jim Morrison, "Keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the whee-eel."

All this wind will bring much colder temperatures to our area. Our partners at KWTX report that Monday's low will be 29 F. Yeeesh. Oh, and there's a slight chance of rain on top of that.

Bundle up, anchor your outdoor stuff, and drive like you want to survive. Good luck out there, folks.
