19 Arrested in Central Texas Methamphetamine Operation
KWTX is reporting that last Thursday in Waco, authorities served warrants for the arrest of 19 people in connection to a methamphetamine distribution operation in Central Texas.
Even though there were 19 names issued in the warrant, four were already in custody leaving the remaining 15 to be taken into custody on Thursday.
The warrant describes the suspects as distributing large amounts of methamphetamines throughout the Waco and surrounding areas beginning as early as January of 2017.
Throughout the investigation, local authorities reportedly seized nine pounds of methamphetamine.
KWTX named the 19 arrested with ages ranging from 19 to 54.
Those arrested include Rene Marquez Lopez, 42, of Waco; Peter Nino, 34, of Waco; Brandon Roy Stout, 34, of Waco; Lloyd Ray Gatlin, 44, of Waco; Cruz Oviedo, 26 of Austin; Kyle Anthony Baker, 33, of Waco; Juli Jenice Aleman, also known as Juli Jenice Garcia, 41, of Waco; Benito Rodriguez, 37, of Waco; Ricky Rivera, 43, of Waco; Juan Rivera, 39, of Waco; Shauna Gilstrap, 39, of Waco; James Leroy McMillion, 54, of Waco; Brent May, 55, of Whitney; Sandra Oviedo, also known as Sandra Cardenas, 25, of Austin, and Nicholas Charles Caufield, 43, of Waco.
