4 Temple Families Lose Apartments In Early Morning Fire

Fire quickly spread through a four-plex apartment in Temple early Thursday morning as firefighters worked quickly to remove residents from the Saulsbury Apartment complex.  A call to 9-1-1 just after 5:30am reported smoke and flames coming from one of the apartment buildings on. 10 individuals and 4 families are now without a home, but thankfully no one was injured as a result of the fire.

The building has been determined to be a total loss, and the families affected by the fire are now receiving assistance from the American Red Cross. Fire Marshals are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
