What Else Could Be Built On The Former Albertson’s Land In Temple, Texas?
Growth in Temple, Texas has mostly been out west, but improvements are creeping closer to I-34. Roads are closed, buildings have "coming soon" signs, and more importantly, all the orange around the town that shows where the construction is underway. But with all expansion comes questions about what's coming to the area.
Remember the Old Albertson's in Temple?
One building that many have looked at in Temple and wondered what was coming to replace it is the former Albertson's building on West Adams. It's gone through some changes since the grocery store closed in 2004, when the store went out of business. Now the Temple Daily Telegram revealed a 7-Eleven will be built on the property.
But That's Not All
There are supposed to be other retail spaces being made available in that plaza, which has us wondering what else could be moving in. Will it just be more liquor stores and game rooms, or will there be something new and exciting in the works?
Hey, we love 7-Eleven, but there's so much potential for even more businesses in that area, especially locally owned enterprises.
Take a Look Back
We thought it would be not only interesting to see how the building has changed over the years, but also ask the question, should something else have taken the place instead of the 7-Eleven?
