
Temple Residents Detail Horrific Alleged Niagara Bottling Smell
The Niagara Bottling facility in the city of Temple, Texas is currently facing criticism for a perceived causing of a bad smell. When did this become known and is anything being done about it? Here's what is known at the time of writing.
Reported Horrific Smells Being Caused By Niagara Bottling In Temple, Texas
According to KCEN, the situation has been happening for an extended amount of time. For one resident, Jadee McLerran, the smell has different strengths, depending on the day:
“Some days are really, really awful...Other days it’s just nauseating when you drive by, but it spreads through the whole road.”

As for the odor, well, McLerran describes it as this:
“It literally turns your stomach...Rotting flesh, rotten garlic, all in a septic system — the most stomach-turning thing you’ve ever smelled.”

With issues persisting, attention now turns to if residents in the area have alerted the city to the situation.
Is The City Of Temple Aware Of The Situation?
Per KCEN, residents in the area have tried to figure out if there is a solution to removing the smell. However, the complaints have not seemed to have been addressed.

McLerran elaborated to the news organization:
“We’ve asked what’s going on, and we’re just not finding out anything...I feel terrible for the people who live right across the street. They can’t enjoy their yards. They can’t go outside with their kids.”
At the time of writing, residents in the area and KCEN have reached out the City of Temple, and neither have been able to get a definitive answer. As this is a developing story, we will have more information when it becomes available.
