Rowan’s New Data Center Campus Coming To Temple Very Soon

The city of Temple, Texas continues to grow and grow. We've seen many new people make their way to the Central Texas area, for a lot of reasons. Now, it looks like another business is making its way to Temple, bringing with it new jobs.

What Is The New Business Coming To The City Of Temple, Texas?

In a press release from the city of Temple, Rowan Digital Infrastructure is coming to the area. According to KXXV, the new data center, taking up over 700 acres of land, is bringing jobs to Temple. In a press release, Chairman of the Board for Temple Economic Development Corporation, John Howe, said this:

“This announcement is the latest in a series of major companies seeing the value of investing in Temple and doing so in a big way...This data center has the potential to impact our community in tremendous ways for years to come.”

With the project being greenlit, when is construction set to begin?

When Will The Rowan Data Center Begin Construction And Be Completed?

The press release revealed that the building of the data center is set to being very quickly, with the end of 2025 being the starting point for the beginning of construction. It is expected to be done in the fall of 2026.

The future of the center includes plans for the years of 2029, three years after its completion. All of this planning certainly excites Tim Davis, the Mayor of Temple:
