UPDATE: Police discontinued the AMBER Alert for Fermin Fuentes early Sunday morning.

Around 3:17 AM, police announced that the alert had been cancelled, and that Fermin was found safe with his mother. According to police, the child was never in any danger and was not in a vehicle at the time it was reported stolen.

Police did not release much information, but said three people had been taken into custody. The child was reportedly with his mother the entire time.


 

An AMBER Alert was issued Sunday night for a young boy police believe is in grave danger.

Dallas police report that 4-year-old Fermin Fuentes was last seen around 6 PM Sunday, May 26 in the 2200 block of South Buckner Boulevard in Dallas.

Fuentes was the passenger in a stolen car described as a silver 2006 Ford 500 with Texas license plate number BRR1097. Police say there's a Texas Rangers baseball sticker on the trunk of the car.

Fuentes was described as a white male with black, curly hair and brown eyes. He's approximately 3'0" tall and weighs around 45 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and brown shorts.
