Fort Bend County officials believe a murder-suicide took the lives of four people early Sunday morning.

According to a report from CBS 11 News, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's office arrived at the 9200 block of Sabastian Drive in response to a call for a welfare check about a man who way be contemplating suicide or harming his family.

After failing to receive a response from inside the house, deputies traveled to the back of the residence where they peered through the windows and saw two individuals unresponsive in the kitchen. Authorities gained entry into the home and discovered four people and two dogs who had died from gunshot wounds.




 

Officials believe that 48-year-old Ryan Brown, killed his wife, two teenage sons, and two dogs before killing himself. Brown's victims have been identified as 49-year-old Lynette Brown, 16-year-old Sam Brown, and 13-year-old Hayes Brown.
