The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services is seeking help finding a one-year-old baby missing from Smith County.

According to a report from KLTV-TV shared by our partners at KWTX-TV, Henderson County Family Court Judge Nancy Adams Perryman granted the State of Texas custody of Gatlyn Baker on Tuesday. When the DFPS attempted to remove Gatlyn from his mother's custody, she ran with the child.

Authorities say the boy is believed to be with his parents, Kenny and Chelsea Baker, who were last seen in flint driving a black 2005 Chevy Tahoe, license plate MWF 2406.

Anyone who spots the couple or knows anything that might be helpful to police is asked to call (903) 368-0064.
