Thanks in large to part to the recent rain, Bell County will allow the sale of fireworks for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend according to an article shared by the Temple Daily Telegram's Jacob Sanchez.

Surprisingly Memorial Day is not a firework protected holiday, meaning the commissioners' court could prohibit sales for any reason they feel fit. There are a handful of holidays that only allow drought conditions to prohibit sales, with Christmas day being one, I've never seen a firework on December 25th.

If you do plan on setting off fireworks at your residence, make sure you stay safe and check to see if you are allowed to do so in your neighborhood. The purchase alone of firecrackers does not necessarily mean you will be allowed to set them off.

STARTS MARCH 28TH (2)
