For those looking for a job in Central Texas, the Belton Independent School District is set to host a job fair, and relatively soon.

Belton ISD Job Fair Set For January 20th

According to a press release from the district, the fair will be located at 1220 Huey Dr. in Belton, and take place at the Support Services Center for the district. Positions that will be available for interviews will be nutrition services staff, bus drivers, custodians, and groundkeepers.

In a comment provided by the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, Todd Schiller: “Belton ISD has something really special to offer those interested in a career in education, at any level, We are proud to have a culture that supports and values every member of our team. For that reason, folks want to work in the Big Red Community."

Top 20 Restaurants Central Texans Wish Would Come to Temple

A while back, I asked the good people of Temple if they could picture a good restaurant to fill the lot on North General Bruce Drive where the soon to be torn down Long John Silver's stood.

This was before it was announced that a Dutch Bros. Coffee location would open there (which was one of the places I predicted as a contender in our article).

So now Dutch Bros. is open in that spot, but the responses to my survey were interesting because they paint a picture of just how diverse Temple's population is. People recommended some familiar restaurants with locations in the surrounding area, but also a few I'd never even heard of.
