Bend O’ The River Christmas Will Include Snow Sledding

Temple Parks and Recreation is going to give central Texans a chance to go sledding this Saturday with Bend O' The River Christmas on December 17th.

From 3pm til 8pm the event will feature Christmas caroling, snow sledding, wagon rides, arts and crafts, and even a cowboy Santa. A snow pack will be built for sledding and the fun will also feature a carousel.

Advance tickets will be available at templeparks.com and are $5 dollars. Tickets at the gate will be $7 dollars the day of the event. Bend O' The River is located at 7915 S. General Bruce Drive in Temple.

The Temple Christmas Parade will take place on Monday, December 5th beginning at 6:15pm with the lighting of the city Christmas Tree. The Parade will start at Adams Avenue near West 8th street and travel down Adams to 23rd street ending at Temple High School.
