Veteran ESPN broadcaster, Brent Musburger, kicked off coverage of last night's national championship game with a laugh,  by stealing his partner's identity.

Last night, millions tuned in to ESPN to watch the last ever BCS National Championship game. (Next year a playoff system will replace the BCS.) Famed sports broadcaster Brent Musburger started off the momentous occasion by introducing himself as Kirk Herbstreit, and Herbstreit as himself.

In the grand scheme of things, of course this is just a small slip up for Musburger, who is considered a broadcasting legend at age 74. In fact, last year he made much bigger headlines in the title game between Alabama and Notre Dame, when he took notice of McCarron's girlfriend in the stands.
