According to a report from our news partners at KWTX, Lilian Halabi of Harker Heights is competing on Food Network's Halloween Wars.

This Ain't Her First Rodeo

Halabi, who owns Lily's Cakes in Harker Heights, isn't a newbie when it comes to competing on Food Network. Lily actually appeared on Food Network's Monopoly Cake Wars in 2017 and returned home as champion!

In 2018, Lily was once again was featured on Food Network for the show Holiday Wars, where she was once again crowned as champion.

Lily is so amazing at what she does that she even appeared as part of the cast of Cake Wars ChampsWinner Cake All and was a virtual judge this year for the series Buddy Vs Duff 3.

The Streak Continues

Now Lily is making her return to competition on Food Network, and is already giving her competitors a run for the money.

This season's first episode premiered September 19, and the audience saw Lily and her fellow team members Kim Simons and Jewell Burgess win the first competition for best cake.

Support Goes A Long Way

The 7 episode series will continue and new episodes debut every Sunday until Halloween.

According to the Killeen Daily Herald, Lily truly appreciates her husband  City Councilman Sam Halabi, who encouraged her to follow her passion and open her own store in 2012.

Lily was presented a proclamation by Harker Heights Mayor Spencer Smith, and had a special thank you for her husband.

“And last, but not least, a big thanks to my dear husband, Samir, for being my biggest cheerleader and supporter and for keeping up with my craziness and dreams!” she said.
