Check Out Rita Ballou Being A Dork Backstage At Schoepf’s BBQ (VIDEO)

I talked about my big "dork out" moment today on the air, so I might as well show you the video evidence. This video is the back end of my first stage announcement out at Schoepf’s BBQ in Belton for the Texas Music Series kickoff with Stoney LaRue.

If you look closely at around the 31 second mark, you can see my silly self literally skipping off stage. I was just so excited to be in front of the crowd and my adrenalin had definitely kicked in! The extra dorky part comes up next when I mindlessly hand the wireless microphone to Stoney. Of course, I was oblivious to all of this until I saw this video, but I loved the crazy look he gave me...but I especially loved the way Stoney just tosses the mic to his sound guy. He's such a Rock Star.

Again, I am a dork. I just can't help it.

I will be back out again at Schoepf’s this Thursday night for Week 3 of the Texas Music Series with headliner Bleu Edmondson featuring Grady Spencer. I will also be broadcasting live from 5 to 7 p.m. so please come out early. I will even let you buy me a beer!
