Chris Hardwick Closes The Talking Dead With Touching Tribute to His Father

It’s easy for us to get caught up in the commercialism and stress of the holiday season, but fans of the Walking Dead were reminded this week to focus on what’s really important.

Chris Hardwick, host of AMC’s ‘The Talking Dead’, paid tribute to his father at the end of Sunday’s episode. Billy Hardwick passed away Saturday of an apparent heart attack. Chris Hardwick expressed his gratitude at being able to tell his 72-year-old father that he loved him before he passed away and encouraged viewers to take the time to appreciate their own families.
