Copperas Cove Goes All in With the Cold Weather
The Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation Department is enjoying the winter weather that has finally arrived in Central Texas. From a Polar Bear Plunge to viral icy mishaps, Copperas Cove is finding the fun side of frigid temperatures and they want YOU to take part!
The Annual Polar Bear Plunge
According to the Copperas Cove Parks and Recreation Facebook page, the Annual Polar Bear Plunge has been rescheduled for this Saturday, January 31st at the City Park Pool. The pool will open at 8:30am with the plunge beginning at 9am. The important event details are below:
• The event is free
• No participants under the age of 10 will be allowed to plunge
• All minors must have parental consent completed on the waiver form
• Waivers must be completed prior to plunging
• Event shirts will be available for purchase first come, first served while supplies last
