A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Bell County until 12:30pm.

The National Weather service reports that at 7:15a Doppler radar indicates a line of thunderstorms producing heavy rain near Morgan's Point resort. Over two inches of rain have already fallen over central Texas in the last 24 hours.

Additional rainfall is expected to cause flash flooding and excessive runoff. Low water crossings are expected to become impassable. If you encounter a water covered roadway, turn around and find an alternate route.

A small stream flood advisory has also been issued for Southwestern Mclennan County, and Coryell County in central Texas.

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for Bell County until Thursday morning.
