Flash Flood Warning Issued for Bell County

A Flash Flood Warning has been issued for Bell County and central Texas until 2am. Excessive water runoff is causing flash flooding in some areas. Please use extreme caution if you see water covered roadways while traveling tonight or early Tuesday.

The National Weather Service reports over two inches of rain have already fallen over portions of Bell county tonight.  Additional rainfall is expected to continue overnight.

It's a busy night for weather tonight. The following alerts are out from the National Weather Service for Bell County.

•  A Flash Flood Warning for Bell County until 2am.
• A Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 11:45pm.
• A Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 7am.
• Flash Flood Watch until 7am.

The weather is making travel difficult tonight as well. KWTX is reporting a major accident near Waco on northbound I-35.
