Former Copperas Cove Coach Chris Morgan Headed To The Super Bowl With Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons are headed to Super Bowl 51 in Houston, Texas.

They are led in part by former Copperas Cove football coach Chris Morgan who handles the offensive line duties for Atlanta. Chris appears in the photo above taken yesterday during the game against Green Bay. He is also an alumni of Killeen High School.

US 105 and the communities of central Texas wish Chris and his team the best of luck! It's great to see someone with beginnings right here at home, make it to such an outstanding level of success.

Morgan spent two years as an assistant coach in Cove before heading off to coach at the University of Idaho. Chris has also spent time coaching with the Seahawks, Raiders, and Redskins organizations.

The Falcons are headed to the Super Bowl for just the second time in franchise history to face the New England Patriots on February 5th!
