Garth Brooks To Play At Central Texas Dance Hall
Garth Brooks is known for selling out gigantic stadiums around the world, so it may come as a surprise what venue he booked for his next show.
It's a Texas stop, but it's not Cowboys Stadium, no it's Gruene Hall in New Braunfels. CBS Austin reports that the Tulsa native will play at the oldest dance hall in Texas Monday, September 23rd.
This isn't the first time playing a small venue this summer. Garth has been hitting up a number of 'dive bars' to promote his latest single with Blake Shelton.
I don't know if Gruene Hall qualifies as a dive bar. Built in 1878 the 6,000 square foot hall hasn't changed much over the years. Gruene Hall has hosted nearly every big name with Texas ties, from asleep at the wheel to Miranda Lambert. They've even had Merle Haggard and Hootie & The Blowfish, Garth will still be the biggest name to set foot on the small stage.
