The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Little River near Little River, Texas.

We've seen a lot of rain in a short period of time and it's not over yet. Friday evening in Bell County will be a wet one and we already have several creeks and rivers on the rise near or at flood levels. Remember never try to cross a flooded road or street in conditions like this. Belton and Salado are already experiencing some pretty serious flooding. Here is a look at some of the flooding near Stagecoach Inn.

Traffic tie-ups, flooding, wastewater overflows in the parks (390,000 gallons so far today in Lions Park), the Central Texas Airshow is canceled tonight...thanks a lot, storms! Earlier on Friday Salado Creek was so swollen that water covered part of the Main Street Bridge and part of FM 2843.

Friday night rains will likely make the localized flooding worse. Residents in Coryell County are advised to use caution near the Leon River and its streams and branches. We should begin to dry off by 9 am Saturday morning. Airshow activities will resume their regular schedule on Saturday as well.
