
Holland, Texas Corn Festival Sure Delivered Time And Again
Holland, Texas is one of several towns in the United States to share the name with a region of the Netherlands this party celebrates Texas culture, and often many of those towns feature tulip themed festivals like Tulip Time in Michigan, but have you ever eaten a tulip? The furthest I have ever gotten was taking a single bite from a lone pedal, and I probably did not even need to go that far to know that eating sweet corn is way more enjoyable.

As you can see in the link just above, I promised that the Holland Corn Festival would be a must-attend family event, and it sure lived up to the high praise with a great parade, 5K event and two incredible nights of live music. No surprise, as the father of three young kids, the parade was by far their favorite immediately followed by the bounce houses and just about anything else that is geared for children.
How long has Holland, Texas been hosting the Corn Festival?
For a little more than 50 years, Holland has held the annual festival with only 2020 being missed due to that one Covid thing that ruined everything for over a year.
When hearing them announce the upper age group winners for the 5K, the presenter said that one gentleman has ran in every single one of them except for one since the festival began in the mid 70s.

I do not know, already being in my mid 40s, I am looking to begin challenging that mark, but you do not have to go any further than looking at the pictures below to see why you would want to make the Holland Corn Festival an annual family tradition.
