Texas Tech Wide Receiver Releasing Country Album Next Month

The Midlothian native had a little help from his then-neighbor turned coach, Joey McGuire, who got him his first gig when he first got to Lubbock.

McGuire helped set him up to play at Cook's Garage back in August and started his whole career.

While it is a country album there will be a lot of variety on it like cold, new and acoustic country music, hoping there is something for everyone.

Wiginton biggest influences are Cody Johnson and Parker McCollum, but he is trying to find his sound and what sounds like him.

While Haydon music is taking off, football and academics are still first in line.

Wiginton will host a release party at The Blue Light on May 2nd. His album comes out at midnight on May 3rd. Wiginton will feature at least nine tracks and will be released in two parts. The second part is expected to come out later this summer.
