Killeen Singer Rose Short Advances On NBC’s ‘The Voice’
Killeen's Rose Short continues her triumphant run on "The Voice" this week with another victory to advance to the next round!
This week, Short had to battle against contestant Jessie Lawrence who both had to split a duet of The Weeknd's hit song "I Can't Feel My Face" and while both artists did their thing, the judges could only pick one winner and Rose moves on.
Judge Kelly Clarkson gave her a "Job well done", while Blake Shelton praised Rose for her vocal control but refused to pick a winner. John Legend also extended praise for Short's "great musical storytelling ability" which hit Short right in the feels and caused her to tear up. It's heavy receiving praise from legends you look up to.
Short is representing "Team Gwen" being lead by singer Gwen Stefani and she now moves on to the "The Knockout" round.
You can catch "The Voice" on NBC Monday and Tuesday nights beginning at 7:00 PM CST to root for Rose and see her incredible performances.
