Holy moly that was moderately scary. About an hour ago our studios took a hit from the lightning storms traveling over Central Texas, which a) explains why you might not be able to hear us and b) why we are sharing this "weather alert" from the National Weather Service.

We're not expected to see severe weather by weather alert standards, but there was a lot of lightning and thunder to go with torrential rain earlier this afternoon. The National Weather Service has put out an alert for isolated thunderstorms through today and tonight with chance of lightning strikes, some hail, gusty winds and brief bouts of heavy rain.

Isolated thunderstorms are expected to continue for 4-5 more days. There have been no reports of local flooding yet, however, this could change at any moment so please refer back to this article or the National Weather Service for safety updates.
