Local Elementary School Choir Channels Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”

Everyone knows Elton John. Even these 3rd, 4th and 5th graders from Martin Walker Elementary School in Copperas Cove. Last week the Martin Walker Honor Choir performed Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and they sounded great!

The Choir performed two songs that night in an "All About Colors" concert, one of Elton John's and "La Vie en Rose" originally performed by Edith Piaf.

Director Teegan Hendricks announced that the Honor Choir has one more performance left this school year and it's coming up on Tuesday, May 24. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. at Martin Walker Elementary in Copperas Cove. The young vocalists will be performing songs both old and new.
