Local Family Ask for Prayers for Injured Son
News 10 is reporting that Copperas Cove's Tammy Callison, stepmother of Kenneth Curley, is asking the community for prayers after her stepson was involved in a scary car accident.
Curley, 14, was involved in a car accident at 11:35 a.m. Friday morning at the intersection of FM 1113 and FM 580 in Topsey when they collided with a truck.
Curley is currently recovering from his third surgery on Monday for various injuries including broken bones and bruised lungs.
The family has since asked the community for their conjoined effort in prayer.
"Pray for him. Pray for his friends. Pray for us because the logistics of being in two places at once and trying to take care of our kids and Kenneth at the same time is hard," said Callison.
Band Boosters have set up the ability for families to sign up to provide food for the family during this time and a GoFundMe account has been established to help with any medical expenses.
