Local FCU Temporarily Closing Drive-Thru

A federal credit union in Central Texas is temporarily closing their drive-thru due to COVID-19.

According to press release from Genco Federal Credit Union in Waco, the Valley Mills Drive branch closed August 24 after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The worker is said to have last worked at that location on Wednesday, August 19. Out of extreme precaution for their members and staff, Genco has decided to temporarily close the drive-thru.

Genco has asked employees in that may have been in close contact with the person infected to go home and visit their local health care provider. Genco hopes to re-open the drive-thru as and resume business once everything is resolved.
