Lone Star Santas Bring Cowboy Christmas In July
Tis' the season for fireworks, barbecue, and...Santa?
The Lone Star Santas, an organization since 2007, is a group of bearded beneficiaries who have made it their mission to spread the joys of Christmas all year long. They travel to communities affected by natural disaster and help raise spirits through toy drives for children. Just last month, LSS completed four "Convoy of Toys" missions in the tornado-stricken Canton area.
The Santas will arrive on Sunday and have plans to visit children and veterans all across Bell County! In addition to making several appearances around Temple and Belton, the Santas will be featured near the head of the Belton 4th of July Parade, alongside legendary blues artist Doc Dockery!
