Man in Bell County Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

A man in Central Texas was arrested by the Bell County Sheriff's Department on possession of child pornography charges.

According to a report from our partners at KWTX-TV, Chesley Nunley Jr, 77, was apprehended by the Bell County Sheriff's Department on Wednesday following the execution of a federal indictment for the Possession of Child Pornography.

Earlier this summer on July 2, authorities searched Nunley's residence and executed an electronic device search warrant. Officials collected over 100 devices that contained images and video of the sexual exploitation of children.

Nunley is currently being held without bond pending a federal transfer to the Jack Harwell Detention Center in Waco.
