Netflix Hit Show “Queer Eye” Casting and Filming in Central Texas
Season 6 of the Emmy award winning Netflix show Queer Eye is coming to Central Texas to make a few of us utterly fabulous.
According to an Instagram post from Bobby Berk, a member of Queer Eye's Fabulous Five, the group is back in Texas and ready to film new episodes.
Queer Eye is a Netflix reboot of the series that previously aired on Bravo. The show follows a team of gay professionals, dubbed the Fab Five, who give lifestyle and fashion makeovers to guests.
The cast features:
- Antoni Porowski-the food and wine expert
- Tan France- the fashion expert
- Jonathan Van Ness- the grooming expert
- Bobby Berk- the design expert
- Karamo Brown- the culture expert
Last year the group had plans to pick a few Central Texans to make over, but the pandemic of COVID-19 interfered and halted production. Fortunately for us, the series is returning and the group still wants to help Texans with their lifestyle and fashion sense, or more likely lack of fashion sense.
Can you imagine the Fab Five completely changing the appearance and lifestyle of a Texan? Say goodbye to bolo ties and ten gallon hats! I absolutely cannot wait to watch their reactions to Texas culture.
If you haven't seen the show before, don't worry because all 5 seasons are available to stream on Netflix.

No word on when season 6 will premiere, but you may see someone know!
