Hungry Anyone? New Union Hall Food Court Coming To Temple, Texas
Temple, Texas is always growing day by day. It's actually very cool to see it happening in real time. With expansion happening, and more people coming to work in the city, more businesses have been moving into the city as well. That means it's long past time to tidy up our historic Downtown, and there's been a new development there. (No pun intended.)
We talked about the Hawn Hotel and Arcadia Theater last year, due to the announcements of renovating the area with new amenities. New apartments are planned, as well as retail space. But now a new tenant of the Hawn Hotel has appeared, and it's something we all will be able to enjoy.
According to KWTX, Union Hall has announced they will be opening up a new food court in the refurbished hotel. This will be their third food court and their first in Temple.
When reached for comment by KWTX, a Partner of UnionBrands Eateries Texas LLC, Shane Turner said:
"With Union Crossing opening on-site, it’s great to know that people are going to be able to appreciate and enjoy, not only the delicious food served by local vendors, but the revitalization of the historic Hawn Hotel as well.”
As of writing, nine new food vendors are set to take up a spot on the first floor. But also as of writing, no knows who the vendors will be. Todd Behringer, who is a partner in helping Union Hall expand, said that the food court will be different in it's own way. He told KWTX:
“We have expectations that each location we open and operate will provide a somewhat unique experience, without the cookie cutter feel of the national chains.”
I am certainly excited for more food options in Temple. How about you? Let us know via our station app!
