Raven’s Cheerleader Benched For Gaining Two Pounds? [Poll]

Courtney Lenz, a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader for five years, has been benched from the Super Bowl.  She claims she has been shunned by the Ravens Football Team because of gaining two pounds.  Although the Ravens have said that by rule only 32 of the 60 cheerleaders would be allowed to attend and cheer at the Super Bowl, Lenz is convinced that it is because she gained two pounds.  She thinks that because she has been a cheerleader for five years she had earned the right to cheer on her team, but has been pushed aside because she announced her retirement at the end of the season.

Perhaps this is just a result of our society being a little too image conscious?  Seriously?  Being benched from attending the Super Bowl over two pounds?  I think it is ridiculous .. What do you think?
