    The Blind Auditions

Rose will be quick to share her story with you about how she quit her job as a corrections officer to pursue her dream and passion to be a singer. She put it all on the line at The Voice Blind Audition, singing a song from one of the show's coaches, John Legend, called "Preach". That performance earned her 2 chair "turns" from Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani. Rose would go on to select Gwen to be her coach, and the ride officially began.

    The Battle Rounds

Rose would move on to the "The Battle Round", where she was put up against one of her own team members, Jessie Lawrence. They had to sing the same song together in front of a studio audience. Rocking out to The Weeknd's "I Can't Feel My Face", Rose snatched the hit away from Jessie and Gwen and the coaches agreed, choosing her to move onto the next round.

    The Knockouts

While Rose had no problem showcasing her R&B skills, it was during her SOARING performance of British pop star Jessie J's deep cut "Big White Room" that America began to take notice that Rose is a star on the rise. Coach Blake Shelton called it his "favorite" performance of the round and Rose began to receive more notoriety, including an article in Billboard Magazine. The Top 8

It was "80's week" on the show and Rose sang one of the decades most iconic hits, "I Want To Know What Love Is" by Foreigner. It was a tough task to handle, but Rose lived up to the moment and delivered. However, her journey hit a stop sign momentarily.

    Instant Save Performance

In order to make it into the Final 4, Rose would have to prove to America one more time that THIS stage is where she belongs. After not garnering enough votes to make it automatically into the Top 3, Rose would channel the spirit of the late great Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin with a performance of "(You Make Me Feel) Natural Woman". It blew away her competitors and brought Rose a ticket into the The Voice Finals!
