Nature in Lights at BLORA is celebrating their 20th season this year.

Every night starting at 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. from Nov. 11, 2016 to Jan. 8, 2016 residents from all the surrounding areas can enjoy 120 Christmas-themed displays stretched over five and half miles. With Christmas music as your tour guide and millions of Christmas lights as the backdrop, every young-at-heart will be oh-so-ready to celebrate the holiday season.

Nature in Lights evolved as a means to promote community partnerships, instill the holiday spirit in visitors and enhance the quality of life for Fort Hood Soldiers, their family members, and the surrounding community. Local merchants come together by sponsoring their own display to include HEB, KISD, BISD, and our very own Townsquare Media. Employees of the BLORA maintenance staff began preparing the displays the first week of August.

Stop by and see Santa's Village located in the Live Oak Pavilion from November 17 - December 11 Thursday thru Sunday and nightly from December 15 - December 24. Enjoy homemade cookies and hot chocolate from the Christmas Café while you wait to have your photo taken with Santa.

For those who like to think outside the box, Spoke Night is for you. Experience Nature in Lights on your bicycle, January 9 for $3 per adult and $2 per child 12-and-under.

While supplies last, receive the 9th edition Nature in Lights Ornament Monday thru Wednesday. Gate fees are Car, Mini-van & Pick-up - $15, Limos, RV & 15 – Passenger Van - $30, 24 – Passenger Van - $50, and 47 – Passenger Van or Larger Bus - $75.
