Killeen police are searching for a suspect who robbed Texell Federal Credit Union in Killeen Friday afternoon.

Witnesses say the suspect entered the credit union at 2208 Sunny Lane shortly before 3 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money. The man claimed to have a weapon, but according to the police report, the teller never saw it. After the teller complied with the suspect’s demand, he fled south on foot and was last seen jumping over a residential privacy fence.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned black man, 6’ tall, 150lbs, wearing a black beanie, black hooded sweatshirt, gray t-shirt with a green neon vest over it and blue jeans.
