Take a Tour of the McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple During US105’s Radiothon
I finally got a chance to walk away from the microphone for a little bit to see and learn more about the great place that takes care of our community's children.
This is such a great place that goes above and beyond to make all the children feel special. We got a chance to look at some of the rooms kids stay in while here at the McLane Children's Hospital.
Each room is equipped with "Skylight," an interactive program that allows kids to watch movies, play games, order food 24 hours a day, request housekeeping, and even get to learn a little bit more about the people that are taking care of them.
Julia was impressed with the showers...
Peter liked the beds with the many many buttons...
I was more impressed with this awesome painting of ducks.
Seriously though, this is such an amazing place that affects the lives of so many people in our community. Here is your chance to help. This is your chance to be a part of something special, your chance to change the life of a child that would have no hope if it wasn't for a great place like this.
Your donation will help provide necessary equipment and programs to help kids and families being treated right here in Temple at the Children’s Hospital.
We’ll continue to broadcast live from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. today, and again tomorrow, Friday September 20 from the McLane Children’s Hospital, for the Children's Miracle Network and US105 Country Cares for Kids Radtiothon!
